Your new role
As the Examinations Coordinator - Events, you will ensure that written examinations are prepared for written and practical use. You will coordinate and maintain candidate lists for sessions and ensure that all examination documentation is prepared prior to examination. Alongside ensuring all examinations are prepared, you will support the convener, examiners and examinations team with execution, processing, cross checking and release of examinations. Additionally, you will support examination stakeholders in line with the organisations policies and protocols. You will be organising and preparing examination team events and assist in leading and delivering projects relative to the assessment department. You will also be monitoring examination delivery and ensuring that processes and procedures are adhered by. Furthermore, you will maintain confidentiality of examination items and all relevant examination processes.

What You'll Need To Succeed

    • Prior experience in an event/project management role
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, mitigate and manage risks
    • Strong knowledge, skills and judgement to effectively solve problems and prevent issues
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
    • High level computer and database management skills
    • Proven ability to work independently and work collaborative with staff at all levels
    • Track record independently organising work priorities, monitoring workflow and meeting deadlines
    • Understanding of the importance of ensuring compliance with protocols and documentation
