EHG is very excited to be recruiting for a Release Train Engineer to join our growing Technology team! The Release Train Engineer will manage and optimise delivery of applications to the production environment and oversee the transition to full operational support. The Release Train Engineer will work closely with sprint teams to ensure that they are coordinated and all working to a common goal. The role will also help plan program increments, sprints, planning and execution of the deployment of software patches, data changes and other enhancements as directed in an advanced SaaS environment.

You have exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and you have an innovative and creative mindset with the ability to problem-solve and adapt.


Key Responsibilities

  • Make sure that the team is working effectively together in Agile, promoting collaboration and transparency.
  • Continuously support the team to take steps in improving and adding more value to the complete process.
  • Develop efficient and coordinated action plans for each Train, which results in quick actions and smooth flow of the process.
  • Create timelines and a calendar for iterations and program increments (PIs), ensuring they are considerate of possible issues and set realistic values.
  • Consistently provide valuable messages to the team, ensuring that the messaging is consistent and allows for a smooth process.

Essential requirements for this role

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, and/or a minimum of 5 years’ of experience in an Agile project management experience.
  • Strong practical experience with sAFE methodologies within a fast-paced SaaS environment across multiple products.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with a Product team to ensure user experience is part of the process.
  • Strong ability to coordinate complex project schedules and foster collaboration among globally distributed teams.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master.
