Accounts Officer

PARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation projects. We provide technical services to the Australian energy and resources sector with specific experience in the Minerals and Mining, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure and Power Generation Industries.

Due to recent project announcements and immediate requirements, we are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our growing team. This position is casual initially, with the strong possibility of a long-term position for the right candidate. This is a Monday to Friday role (7:30am – 4:30pm) at our O'Connor office in Perth.

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills, qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Minimum 2 year's experience working as a Accounts Officer
  • Exposure to MYOB accounting software is preferable
  • Month end invoicing and accounts reconciliation
  • Complete tasks in a timely and effective manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Previous experience working in the Construction and Mining Industry is highly regarded
  • Australian working rights
  • High level of autonomy and self management required

Duties Will Include But Not Limited To
  • Accounts payable & receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Generating client invoices
  • Payroll support
  • Preparing monthly cash flow and tender support
  • Processing of supplier payments
  • Providing adhoc support to the administration team if required
