Full Job Description
Do you have a background in genomics/NGS with experience of flow cytometry, FACS with single-cell experience? Do you want to work for a company offering plenty of progression opportunities?

Invenia has exclusively partnered with a manufacturer of disruptive technology used to optimise workflows within whole-genome sequencing. Following a strong investment, the company is seeking its first commercial hires to form the core of its Field Application Specialist team in both East and West Coast US.

The company provides cutting-edge consumables, services, and clinical diagnostics for clients with backgrounds in cancer biology, neurobiology, cardiovascular and genetic diseases.

Role responsibilities:
If successful, you will join a commercial team of 4 senior individuals as part of a company of 18 as a pivotal part of their go-to-market strategy. You will have the opportunity to work with highly respected scientists at some of the top institutes in the world. Here, you will take control of all aspects including workflow, cell culture, cell handling, flow cytometry, genome amplification, NGS sequencing, and data analysis. You will also provide feedback to the R&D and product improvements team, as well as work with the sales team to provide expertise on the company’s products and services.

What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a background in flow cytometry, FACS, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) with single-cell experience also preferred. You should be used to traveling, and have frequently presented your work at national and international conferences. Within this role, initially, there will be minimal travel, however post-COVID 50% travel will be required.
