The Role
The Collins Submarine Program (CSMP) vision is to ensure that Australia has an enduring and potent Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) Capability. As a member of the Logistics and Assurance Section, you will be providing guidance, planning and conducting materiel and logistics related Sustainment tasks.

CSMP Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Sustainment Officer

You will support the CSMP ILS Sustainment workgroup in activities such as:

assess and verify ILS products in support of CCSM configuration changes.
assist in the management of the Navy Allowance System facilitating the required updates, amendments and verification activities.
support the management of high and medium risk plant for the CCSM in accordance with the Defence Joint Special Licence and related policies and procedures.
support the management of Maintenance Activity (MA) work-scope changes.

CSMP Logistics Assurance Officer
You will support the Logistics Assurance Manager in providing assurance that the CSMP In Service Support Contractors are complying with all Logistics Policies and Procedures. The primary responsibilities are with managing the CSMP disposal process however, you will be expected to assist with other assurance tasks associated with stocktaking and logistics systems management as and when required.

You will have and understanding of and be able to interpret Defence Logistic Policy and Procedures and provide advice to stakeholders on the required outcomes.

You will have knowledge of the Defence Logistics Information System and the Defence Electronic Supply Chain Manual.

These roles sit in the CSMP Sustainment Branch in the Logistics Assurance and Support Section (LASS). The roles support the CSMP and are located within the CSSM Sustainment Office, HMAS Stirling.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a candidates with relevant experience and demonstrable knowledge in the materiel and logistics discipline, particularly:Integrated Logistics Support and materiel logistics allowance management, and/or
detailed logistics governance and assurance technical, professional and policy experience who can liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex logistic matters.
