About the Role
They are currently seeking a professional Career Coach with Learning and Development or Redeployment experience to join their growing team in Burwood. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.

Working within the Career Transition and Redeployment Division, you will be responsible for providing expertise advice and guidance to employees that may have been impacted by some changes within the Organisation.

In this exciting role, you will be undertaking the following duties –

  • Support the delivery of a 5-8 week Career Transition program
  • Manage a busy case load of 30-35 participants
  • Provide one on one case management and coaching of participants
  • Build rapport with participants, understanding individual circumstances, needs, skills, motivators and ambitions whilst identifying a redeployment plan
  • Deliver career guidance and support
  • Conduct routine training workshops, assisting participants in preparation for career transition through resume writing, interview techniques, along with understanding of capability framework
  • Work with small groups that are at the same stage, delivering key advice and expertise
  • Prepare and maintain participant case notes
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships, facilitating collaboration, partnerships, engagement and contribution of ideas
  • Facilitate internal placements and feedback
  • Coordinate and develop individual and group training plans
  • Ensure compliance with best practice, legislation and confidentiality

About You
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following –

  • Minimum 2 years Career Coaching experience or within a similar role
  • Human Resources experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Change or Recruitment
  • Demonstrated experience in Redeployment, Restructure or Redundancies at a large scale
  • Proven experience working within a complex/sensitive/confidential environment
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach, with the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
  • Reliable remote internet access
  • Flexible to attend team meetings across Sydney metropolitan offices
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
