Oversee the administration of the Immunisation service to high standards for the benefit of the Boroondara community

A little bit more about the role
The Community Wellbeing Administration Lead manages administration requirements to support immunisation services. The position facilitates, reviews and improves workplace processes and procedures and ensures high service standards are maintained.

Reporting to the Community Wellbeing Senior Coordinator, the Community Wellbeing Administration is responsible for supervising the day to day activities of team members.

Duties include~

  • Ensuring immunisation service comply with Guidelines

  • Preparing rosters for appropriate staffing of all immunisation programs

  • Assisting with monitoring the health and safety performance of contractors

  • Investigating accidents and incidents and implement remedial preventative actions

  • Coordinating the scheduling and administration of the community, secondary school, staff and workplace vaccination programs

  • Promoting and participating in health promotion activities 

What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to lead and supervise a team along with a demonstrated commitment to contribute to process improvements. You have highly developed communication skills and can network at a number of levels within diverse environments.

You have the ability to interpret relevant legislation and guidelines, and are skilled in report writing and providing recommendations. You are conversant with the epidemiology relevant to the National Immunisation Program vaccine preventable diseases and of the National Immunisation Program Schedule. 

Qualifications and Employment Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in a similar position or substantial relevant experience

  • Satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Check

  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
