As a Device Specialist in our Products & Technology team, you'll be responsible for the definition and maintenance of IoT/M2M device technology requirements from a strategic ranging perspective, ensuring that Telstra’s IoT devices align to its commercial and network feature requirements. Furthermore, support stakeholders inside the overall Global IoT Solutions business, and also, deliver programme management of IoT embedded modules/devices through device ranging, technical testing and post-launch maintenance phases of the IoT module/device lifecycle

In This Role, Your Key Accountabilities Are To

Success in this role is demonstrated through on time delivery of IoT devices through ranging, development and testing through to market launch, as well as timely release of maintenance releases

Serve as primary interface within the Telstra organisation regarding IoT product specifications and capabilities and the associated for all IoT device products

Act as escalation point for issue resolution and ensuring on-time delivery of the IoT Device programme of work

Develop two-year cellular module product roadmap and responsible for half year's module RFI.

Support the development of product roadmaps, forecasts and plans in alignment of team’s priorities

Identify & align IoT/M2M device opportunities to Telstra's Global IoT Solutions strategy through understanding of Telstra's network and commercial requirements

Timely deliver IoT devices through ranging, development and testing through to market launch, as well as timely release of maintenance releases.

Provision subject matter expertise input with respect to IoT/M2M device technology in the development of products and services with a cellular connectivity component

Help understand the relevant IoT vertical market segments, use technical expertise to identify and develop innovative product development opportunities

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess

Genuine interest in Telecommunications, M2M and the Internet of Things (IoT)

Wireless Communications/Engineering background with strong focus on devices

Extensive knowledge in Cellular Technology in technical lens

Experience influencing stakeholders - internal and external.

Experience Working With Large Cross Company Virtual Teams.

Remuneration (base) range: $68,500 – $83,500 AUD
