* Salary $108,843 to $125,901 (depending on experience) plus up to 15.4% superannuation
* Permanent position, based in Sydney

The team
The work of the Information Resource Centre (IRC) provides services that contribute to the gathering, management and storage of information and records at ASIC. The IRC consists of Information & Records Management; Library & Research Services, and Intelligence Support. The Information & Records Management (IRM) team provides best practice digital information and records management support to meet ASIC's business needs and to ensure compliance with ASIC's obligations and responsibilities as a Commonwealth agency.
The role

* Develop and implement information and records management services including maintaining policies and procedures and monitoring compliance.
* Provide technical advice to senior management and stakeholders on information and records management policy, practices and procedures.
* Manage a team providing support for information and records management systems for digital and physical records.
* Develop and manage a range of service contracts and liaise with external suppliers to track service delivery and expenditure and to ensure compliance with specified deliverables including compliance with government procurement requirements.
* Engage with the IT group to manage information systems and digital technology implementation and maintain the integrity and information management compliance of the relevant IT systems.
* Collaborate with Operations teams to support the delivery of information and records services.

About you

* A relevant tertiary qualification in Information or Records Management from a recognised educational/ accredited institution is essential, and/ or equivalent work experience in Information / Records Management at a management level.
* Problem solving and analytical skills for investigating and resolving stakeholder issues and improving work practices.
* Experience administering and delivering a compliant information and records management systems and services in accordance with legislative requirements.
* Experience using a variety of software applications simultaneously including SharePoint or SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), information/records management systems and databases to process, store, retrieve and report information.
* Experience in effectively presenting information to different target audiences through strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
* Stakeholder management experience including building, maintaining and utilising networks, sustaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders and being responsive to changes in stakeholder needs and expectations.
* Membership of a relevant professional association is desirable.
