Educator – Goodstart Aspley

We’re looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic educator to join a highly motivated team, providing fun and educational programs to children in our care.

Our centre

  • Our Aspley childcare centre is closely situated to public transport and local shopping centre
  • We are rated EXCEEDING NQS
  • We have a dedicated arts and crafts room and a dedicated Programming room
  • We are a fun loving and supportive team
  • We have very involved and happy parents as well as a lot of community involvement
  • We are a 74 Place purpose built Centre open from 7am-6pm

Your role

  • Minimum certificate III level early childhood qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Hold a current First Aid qualification
  • Part-time permanent position, 25 hours per week 10am-3pm Monday to Friday
  • Float role assisting in all rooms as required

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the education program and the centre team
  • Engage and supervise the children at all times
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
