The Role

Challenge Community Services is currently looking for an enthusiastic and organised NDIS Administration Officer to join our Finance team based in Tamworth.

This role will be responsible for;

  • Processing Service Agreements and Schedule of Supports
  • Creating service bookings for clients
  • Utilizing the NDIS portal
  • Creating and maintaining client information within the Client Management Systems (CIMS)
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Who are we looking for ?

This position plays a key role in the claiming process of NDIS funding. To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be able to develop strong relationships and engage with staff and other external stakeholders
  • Be flexible in your approach and be enthusiastic about promoting best practice
  • Have excellent communication skills - you’ll enjoy interacting with others and be able to communicate with a wide range of people internal and external to the organisation.
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret funding body price guides, NDIS Plans and Challenge Service Agreements
  • Experience and knowledge of the NDIS
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting staff through your knowledge of the procedures
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the operation of computer based systems and the Microsoft suite of products
  • Strong analytical and technical problem solving abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage your time and multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role
  • Possess or ability to gain a Working with Children Check, Police Check & NDIS Worker Check
