About the Role

Applications are sought for the position of Full Time Operations Coordinator / Trainer at our Stuart Park Depot.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Co-ordinates the operations of the contracted bus services
  • Monitors radio channels and assists staff with operational issues
  • Training Duties as required
  • Bus allocation
  • Shift coverage
  • Using the TIMS System including preparation of rostering
  • Bus driving duties as required
  • Assist with Administration tasks as required
  • Be flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks where needed or as directed by the Operations Manager

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Able to work unsupervised in a small team environment
  • Desire to develop and mentor staff
  • Hold a Certificate IV (4) in Training and Assessment or the ability to achieve this qualification;
  • Able to adapt to, follow and enforce Territory Transit policy and procedures
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills would be an advantage
  • Possess a current MR or higher Licence with H Endorsement and WWC Permit (Ochre Card).
  • Have a positive outlook with a friendly and supportive attitude towards Management and staff working in the Depot.
