About the role:

This is a marketing strategy role where you will work closely with the business, product, sales and account management leadership to create and integrate the marketing strategy and plan for this global business unit.

Reporting to the Global Head of Portfolio Marketing, based remotely, you will be responsible for developing deep buyer insights, core messaging and positioning, strategising on the campaigns and programs needed, and for evolving a results driven launch process.

This is an autonomous role requiring strong influencing and communication skills to unify and motivate peers and connect business plans across multiple functions, geographies and time zones.

Being commercially savvy, you will have a reputation for being audience centric, highly-persuasive and creative.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build growth marketing plans that drive achievement of global business objectives including identifying the reputation building, demand generating and client-facing team enabling action items
  • Develop and operationalise buyer personas, value propositions and messaging
  • Own and oversee product and solution launch planning and dashboards for new product, solution and services offerings
  • Influence the global launch approach to ensure the go-to-market strategy and launch process works
  • Drive retention and upsell/cross-sell strategies across regions
  • Lead across a matrix to deliver high quality marketing assets and campaigns
  • Analyse marketing KPI’s across the funnel and develop action items to optimise performance
  • Lead by example in elevating the performance of the global marketing discipline


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in B2B global marketing, some B2B2C or B2C preferred
  • Proven experience developing strategies for new offerings and launch deployments
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market best practices
  • Superior writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong collaboration, influencer and cross-functional working skills – including experience working across regions, cultures, languages and timezones


Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in B2B portfolio or product marketing in technology, financial services or professional services
  • Certification and/or knowledge of Forrester - SiriusDecisions Portfolio Marketing and other Marketing disciplines
  • Professional/industry association membership (PRIA, AMI or similar)
