The Role
Our award-winning Member Services team have an exciting opportunity for a passionate people-leader to join us on a permanent basis. In the role of Team Leader Member Services, you'll apply your experience leading, motivating and coaching a team of Member Solutions Officers to provide outstanding customer service to our members through a variety of channels including over the phone (inbound and outbound), face to face and digital.

In this rewarding role, your days will be varied and will include leading stand-ups to motivate your team for the day ahead, spending time coaching team members one-on-one and contributing to the Member Services leadership team to identify opportunities to improve our service to members.

Predominantly based out of our Brisbane CBD office, you will have the opportunity to work from home on occasion and can take advantage of our Dress for your Day policy and our Leadership Development Program. Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal Team Leader Member Services will demonstrate some or most of the below:

  • A proven track record of operational leadership experience
  • Ability to manage staff in diverse roles, prioritise according to business needs, and to ensure a coordinated outcome
  • Whilst you'll be predominantly leading and coaching phone-based team members, prior experience leading teams in a webchat, written or social media customer-service function will be highly regarded
  • Ability to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge and understanding of the superannuation, financial planning and related industries and relevant legislation
  • Demonstrated experience motivating teams and uplifting team performance whilst also working with individuals one-one-one to improve performance or behaviour in performance management situations.
