About the role

A great opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler to join Santos, reporting to the Scheduler Team Lead in Adelaide. You will play an integral part in providing technical leadership in the delivery of optimized maintenance schedules for the Santos Midstream assets. 

Key responsibilities of the role also include supporting efficient delivery of frontline maintenance, strategic maintenance campaign schedules and planned maintenance shutdowns as well as delivering oversight and coordination of all schedule build / review / release activities all while ensuring robust priority-based integration of all maintenance activity for execution teams.

Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values. With core responsibilities including (but not limited to):

  • Delivery of maintenance schedules for multiple Midstream assets
  • Ensuring work selected is based on sound work management priorities taking into account work type, regulatory requirements, completion windows, calculated priority, logistics, resource & skill requirements, asset availability, agreed dates and work in progress
  • Providing priority guidance to key delivery stakeholders including Planning, Maintenance Support and Campaign / Site Execution team
  • Leading Schedule Assurance sessions to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Operations Excellence KPI’s 
  • Technical leadership to scheduling support resources including definition of processes, establishment of priorities and targets, progress monitoring progress and quality assurance reviews
  • Ensuring that the scope of work in the 12 Week Forecast through to Committed Schedules meets the required quality standards and has all resources and materials available

About you

The successful applicant will hold tertiary qualifications and/or have significant experience in operational or technical roles in the Oil and Gas or similar industries. Ideally you will bring experience in performing or supervising maintenance in a chemical / hydrocarbon plant environment or experience in scheduling maintenance activity in a resource and asset intensive industry.

If you can demonstrate your ability to use of scheduling tools such as Viziya, Primavera P6, MS Project or Asset / Maintenance management tools such as Oracle eAM or SAP, this would prove to be advantageous.

This position will suit a proactive, results driven professional who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with stakeholders.
