About the role …

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the consolidated digital marketing output for the Optus Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) division. This includes but is not limited to the Digital Marketing efforts as part of the Acquisition & Channel Marketing program whilst also embedding Digital Marketing best practise across the entire Marketing, Insights & Analytics team.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the SMB Digital Performance Marketing program, working in tandem with the Acquisition Marketing & Consumer Digital Channels teams.
  • Digital Media lead, working in conjunction with the Acquisition Marketing Manager, internal teams and agency partners to implement an effective end-to-end digital media strategy
  • Leverage our audience segmentation data to drive targeted acquisition amongst key industries
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key strategic partners including Facebook, Google, Marketing Evolution & LinkedIn
  • Drive digital personalisation throughout the customer purchase loop
  • Manage Marketing Performance reporting, working closely with the consumer team to ensure clear tagging and reporting framework to drive continual optimisation
  • Embedding best-in-class digital marketing across the entire Small-to-Medium Business division and through the output of our partners
  • Champion digital innovation within the Marketing team and broader business unit in line with key objectives

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • Tertiary Qualification in Marketing
  • 4-6 years marketing experience
  • Knowledge of the Australian Internet/multi media/consumer products industry
  • Agency Management experience
  • Detailed knowledge of digital media especially Digital Performance Marketing
  • Experience in developing integrated media plans, ensuring the right channel and investment mix to deliver against KPIs
  • Deep experience in media measurement and developing actionable recommendations from measurement tools
  • Digital reporting and analytics experience
  • Strong ability to utilise and interpret data in order to inform and optimise marketing activity
