We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for this important role based in our Consulting Rooms. This is a great chance to enjoy a new challenge and work family friendly hours with no shiftwork!

The Position:

This role will provide high quality clinical support to the patients, clients, staff and visiting Specialists of the Consulting Rooms. You will provide direct coordination and implementation of care for clients, whilst monitoring appropriate outcomes. Responsibilities will also include quality improvement, risk management and the accreditation process within the Consulting Rooms service. .

The Department:

The BRHS Consulting Rooms provide administration and management services to a broad range of Consultants including BRHS Staff and visiting Specialists. This service allows the general public an opportunity to receive specialist medical services in close proximity to their place of residence and local health care provider.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute setting or practice setting
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills with relevant experience to support the running of the Consulting Rooms including understanding of referral pathways, health assessment and care plans
  • Ability to analysis and utilise clinical data to enhance service development and quality improvement initiatives, and achieve quality patient health outcomes
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills to enable the resolution of difficult or complex issues
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs of the consulting rooms and interest in patient education, health promotion and chronic disease management
