Contracts Administrator - Based Henderson - Contract to Permanent Role

Contracts Administrator with construction or manufacturing experience required for busy team based in Henderson.

The Contracts Administrator will provide contract administrative support to the division and coordinate the client relationship commercially and contractually from award through to completion.


  • Prompt and correct invoicing, including variations and progress claims to clients.
  • Ensure satisfactory conclusion and prompt Contract close outs.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly project cost reports.
  • Ensure all payments to suppliers and subcontracts on projects are approved in accordance with company authority matrix and paid in accordance with subcontract terms.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure that all costs are accounted for and all variations are documented approved and are on file.
  • Maintain subcontractor insurance register, ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and assist with the management of customer disputes (variations, etc)
  • Mitigate potential legal actions with involvement in dispute resolution and negotiations.
  • Issuing of insurance certificates to clients post award.
  • Maintain subcontractor agreements ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures
  • Review internal processes, advise and recommend on alternatives to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications / Skills

  • 2 years contracts administration experience
  • Tertiary qualification in procurement, law, business, engineering or related discipline
  • Broad commercial and negotiation experience
  • Computer literacy (Excel advanced / word, ERP systems)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Effective written, oral and verbal communication skills.

Ideally you will have experienced gained in a resources / manufacturing / construction environment. You will be able to start at short notice on a contract basis but will become permanent for the right person after a trial period.
