This is your opportunity to work alongside professionals with years of experience and knowledge. The business has a diverse, experienced and robust team who are passionate about what they deliver and how they deliver it. They work with commercial customers, who are seeking an integrated approach to business & rotational planning and day to day field recommendations across Cotton, Sorghum, Wheat, Barley & Chickpeas. The business has an industry leading R & D team to support the local agronomy team.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining established and new long-term client relationships, understanding their business goals and sharing market information to enable them to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises. The role will also collaborate with other team members to organise field days and grower information sessions, as well as to leverage client base and product knowledge.

To be successful in this role you will have established yourself as a trusted agronomist in both a hands-on and/or advisory/technical role and will have the following skills:

  • Sound knowledge of summer and winter crop production and pasture management
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in best practice farming and agronomy
  • Strong customer service background with a professional, approachable and accommodating attitude to internal and external contacts
  • The ability to strongly relate, connect and build strong relationships with the rural community
  • Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science or related field and current Australian driving license
  • Demonstrated experience with the sales process, sales activity and call cycle management
  • Good administrative and computing skills.
