About The Role

Our Business Unit Coordinator provides critical high-level support to our Head of People & Capability and extended Lead Team to ensure we perform at our best. Providing diary management to our Head of, excellent coordination and communication abilities are key so our people and teams are aligned, well organised and set up to be successful, now and in the future.

Supporting Water Corporation’s Human Resource service, gain great exposure to our people management practices while delivering multiple business and office administration services, including the proactive coordination and organisation of correspondence and small projects.

Liaise with external and internal stakeholders and committees as required, working closely with the Executive Assistants of our People and Safety Group and others within the wider business.

This is a fixed term opportunity until December 2022

Key Skills And Experience
  • Prior exposure of working within a high-pressure environment.
  • Substantial support and administrative experience, including the creation and preparation of reports and other documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and manage small projects in a timely manner.
  • A pro-active mindset with the skill of working well under pressure with conflicting priorities. Excellent competencies in the use of relevant IT applications.

Desirable
  • Knowledge of the procedures and protocols for Board and Executive papers.
