We are currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join our Corporate Services team on a permanent full time basis. 


Reporting to the Manager Financial & Accounting Services, the Accounts Officer will be:

  • Responsible for NDIS claiming process
  • To create invoices for Self Managed Families
  • Manage and maintain NDIS and state funding records
  • Provide assistance to operations during the transition to NDIS


The Accounts Officer is additional responsible for providing general support to the Finance Team and must be willing, if directed, to take on responsibilities that will as detailed by the Manager Financial & Accounting Services notwithstanding their primary responsibilities described above.


Your success will be ensured by:

Essential

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a service, project, contract administration or finance environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and in particular MS Excel (Intermediate or better).
  • Ability to work prioritise workload, to work collaboratively and to meet deadlines.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. A strong communicator both internally and externally.
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail.


It is desirable that you have:

  • Knowledge of the Disability Sector, Charitable Institutions or Not-for-Profit Organisations.
  • Process improvement / process mapping skills
  • NDIS experience
