Lendlease’s Telecommunications team provides safe, cost effective end-to-end technological solutions for our customers across Australia’s telecommunications networks. We design, construct, operate and maintain telecommunications network infrastructure for public and private asset owners across Fixed and Wireless Networks.

As our business continues to expand, we have an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our fixed networks team.

The Contracts Administrators responsibility is to contribute to the project through the procurement and ongoing management of the project supply chain and management of the project financial and commercial processes. This includes primary responsibility for definition, planning, execution and closing activities necessary to successfully deliver the commercial aspects of the project safely. To ensure adherence to best practices project management principles whilst managing the project delivery services to the Client.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Project Commercial Manager in the administration of the Head Contract to ensure compliance with commercial and legal requirements.
  • Ensure that notices, correspondence, and other commercial requirements of the Programme are met
  • Work closely with the Construction Team and wider project team to monitor project performance and ensure that entitlement under the Head Contract is maintained.
  • In conjunction with the Commercial Manager, provide commercial and contractual support / guidance to all project personnel in the execution of their duties.
  • Subcontractor Management, including issuing and maintaining of work packages, adherence to and execution of the Subcontract Agreement
  • Review and Processing of subcontractor payment claims
  • Negotiating outcomes of variations, delays, and other subcontractor contractual claims to ensure the best outcome for Lendlease while exercising contractual obligations and the requirement to act reasonably.
  • Ensure the project supply chain is paid in accordance with the Contractual arrangement.
To be successful in this position you’ll be a self-starter with solid leadership skills and demonstrated experience working within the telecommunications industry. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative nature will help you develop authentic relationships with clients and stakeholders. Ability to multi-task between various regions and projects whilst providing strong, consistent direction to project team colleagues and staff is key.
