Specialised Force have set the benchmark for product and equipment, providing customers with award winning support across the Power and Energy, Rail, Mining, Construction, Transport and Electrical sectors. 

We are currently seeking a talented Technical Salesperson to join our Brisbane Branch team, and to be part of our next phase of growth plans. The successful applicant will coordinate, develop and implement business strategic plans aligned to sales objectives within their defined region, maintain and build strong business relationships with key stakeholders/accounts and to ensure Specialised Force deliver valued outcomes for customers.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Make sales calls to existing and new clients to generate increased sales and respond to sales enquiries 
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships as well build new client relationships through referrals, phone canvassing, email and networking.
  • Some travel intrastate/interstate may be required from time to time
  • Negotiate supply contracts with key clients
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies in conjunction with Branch Manager to drive sales targets supporting business plan objectives.
  • Prepare sales reports and activities as required.
  • Attend, partake and assist with trade shows and events.
  • Track, co-ordinate and manage client feedback/activities.
  • Maintain customer database details and requirements.
  • Liaise with sales staff and others within the region to ensure timely delivery of information required to meet internal and external deadlines and priorities.


What we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • A self-starter who is highly motivated and ambitious when it comes to delivering customer value
  • Understanding of high-pressure hydraulics and experience with related mechanical equipment sales, services and solutions will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting sales / revenue targets
  • Proven track record in developing new accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
  • A team player with excellent customer service skills
  • Drivers Licence
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • High attention to detail
