Full Job Description
About the Role:
Payroll Officer is part of the Finance & Corporate Services team. This role is responsible for the administration and processing of timely and accurate fortnightly payroll.

About You:
You will have:
formal accounting/payroll qualification
relevant experience in payroll processing and compliance
well-developed computer skills including Microsoft office and intermediate Excel skills
attention to detail and high level of accuracy
demonstrated experience in interpreting and understanding the enterprise agreement, employment contracts and conditions to ensure pay accuracy for all employees
ability to work co-operatively as part of a team
strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a broad range of people from different backgrounds and experience
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to work within the philosophy of YWCA Canberra
current full driver’s license and access to vehicle with comprehensive insurance during working hours (if required)
a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration
Australian Citizenship or suitable rights to work in Australia.
