Our MSP Division, is part of a consortium of independent, technical partners, which include Nova Systems and PwC; supported by a range of specialist SMEs. We share and support Defence’s commitment to growing and improving Australia’s military capability. We do this by delivering large, long term, integrated work packages across the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). In doing so we work closely with both uniformed and public service staff to help plan the acquisition and support of advanced military systems and equipment through the provision of rigorous analysis, advice and assurance; we relish solving the unique and challenging problems this work entails.

By joining us you could be working on any of the following work packages; Communication Systems Branch, Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB), Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Branch (ISREW), Aerospace Surveillance and Response Branch (ASR), Air Training and Aviation Common System Program Office (ATACSPO), Land Services Division (LSD)

Joining our 18 month Graduate Development Program will provide you with:

As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Graduate Consultant , you will be involved in a variety of activities, including:

Writing ILS documentation for CASG Projects
Deliver an excellent service to customers that enhances QinetiQ’s reputation as a trusted partner and provider
Demonstration of initiative and self-motivation
Complying with legislative, regulatory and QinetiQ Quality Management System requirements and regulations
Supporting in the provision of logistic engineering analysis
Assist the contribution to the systems engineering process and product development

At interview, we will be looking for tertiary qualified graduates to demonstrate:

Extraordinary problem solving skills and ability to think laterally

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clients and stakeholders

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate with a consultative approach

A resilient and innovative mindset, ready to take on and solve real world problems

To be eligible for our 2021 Graduate Development Program you must be due to complete your university degree qualification, in a relevant discipline, by the end of 2021, or have completed your degree within the past 12 months, with no more than 12 months’ work experience. You also need to be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, requiring you to be an Australian citizen. Applications for the QinetiQ Australia Graduate Development Program will close on Sunday May 2nd 2021.

What does our recruitment process look like once applications have closed?

Our applications are open for 1 month. Following this, CVs will be reviewed with phone calls to prospective candidates taking place in early May. If successful, you will be invited to a virtual interview, taking place in late May into early June. Offers for our February 2022 program will be made to successful candidates accordingly.
