This is an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable administrator with 1-2 years experience in AP so join a dynamic, creative environment working across multiple different businesses within the Bastion Collective. From Advertising, Social Media, Content, Film Production, Events and Public Relations we are a group of 200 fun loving, down to earth passionate people who are looking for someone to join our awesome Finance Team to help us reach our business goals.

As a result of organic growth, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our national Finance Team. This role is perfect for somebody who is task driven, excels in a team environment and able to complete essential functions in a timely manner. You must have at least 3+ years' experience in accounts payable, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.



Key Accountabilities

· Record, code, and process a high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner

· Record, code and process credit card transactions

· Adherence to Purchase Order Procedures

· Record, code and process staff expense reimbursements and other claims (allowances, etc)

· Reconcile supplier statements

· Handle supplier queries by providing excellent customer service

Other Important Tasks

· Provide support to accounts receivable/Debtor function

· Communicating with staff regarding supplier payments

· Updating supplier / customer information in our accounting system (email addresses, bank account details, etc)

· Staff/Contractor relationships and Terms of Contract

· Other ad hoc tasks as directed

Skills, Attributes and Qualifications

· 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable and fulfilling similar role requirements

· A solid understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping

· Thorough attention to detail and reconciliation skills

· Considerable experience with online accounting systems.

· Ability to work autonomously and also be a key contributor to the finance team

· Excellent written and verbal communication, and an outstanding phone manner

· Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
