Queensland Futures Institute (QFI) are currently seeking a Digital & Social Media Coordinator to assist in developing and delivering content through our digital channels. This is an exciting opportunity to work for Queensland’s most dynamic, and influential Think Tank.

You will be responsible for managing the organic social media channels with a focus to deepen and extend our reach and impact across these channels.

  • Contract - 20-25 hours per month
  • Available to start by Monday 17th May 2021
  • Remote work/Flexible hours


Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the brand's social media calendar, content development, execution, scheduling and uploading
  • Regularly review the content on digital media and website platforms to ensure content is up to date
  • Coordinate with team to ensure brand consistency, and refine a robust strategic direction for social media
  • Generate consistent strategic digital content in line with the brand and its positioning
  • Maximise targeted exposure of expert opinion discussions and key research paper outcomes
  • Stay up to date and report on key member developments and industry movements
  • Ensure content is being maximised to elevate the brand and drive growth
  • Monitor, moderate and report weekly on digital media activity from campaigns
  • Perform day to day management and execution of social platforms including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Assist in providing recommendations on social media content and engagement, digital campaign demand generation and website optimisations
  • Attend and support QFI member forums

Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
  • Proven experience managing digital and social media channels
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, entrepreneurial, creative, and collaborative
  • Good working experience in and around SEO and copywriting
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for design
  • Content creation and execution experience on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter
  • Demonstrated experience using and maintaining websites, including search and content
  • Google Analytics experience in reporting and analysing
  • Graphic design and layout design experience an advantage
