  • A core member of the Digital, Customer and Strategy Leadership Team and a fundamental driver of change across Suncorp
  • Reporting to the Executive General Manager Digital, Customer & Strategy
  • Permanent role based in Brisbane or Sydney

The Role

The Executive Manager Delivery & Transformation will lead the strategic approach to change delivery within Suncorp Bank with a strong focus on leading the agile transformation in partnership with the Technology & Transformation team. This is a key leadership role within the Digital, Customer & Strategy team and will be a fundamental driver in changing the way we deliver change and projects within Suncorp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the B&W transformation agenda with a focus on moving to an agile delivery model and drive strategic transformation initiatives within Banking & Wealth
  • Act as the strategic advisor to the B&W Leadership team through the delivery of portfolio insights to inform decision making
  • Lead a team of Project Management professionals through a business transformation while growing and nurturing talent
  • Develop a strategically aligned portfolio of projects and programs with a time-horizon of 3 years as part of the Group-wide project planning process
  • Be the central point of delivery experience knowledge, delivery tools and processes, as well as governance control under the EPG framework
  • Work collaboratively and proactively across several complex programs to ensure that customer, people, risk and regulatory requirements are met and adhered to
  • Develop and maintain highly effectively partnerships within B&W and across the broader Group and within T&T
  • Manage the annual delivery cycle including reporting and insights into the ongoing cost and benefit performance of projects and prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts


Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, banking and/or finance Mandatory
  • Extensive leadership experience within banking or financial services with a strong focus on customer service, operations and cultural change
  • Demonstrated experience within strategy development and delivery and a strong understanding of financial and risk elements within project delivery
  • Experience in managing agile teams and moving organisations from waterfall to agile delivery
  • A strong strategic thinker and a self-starter
  • Proven experience within the Digital landscape within banking or financial services would be highly advantageous
