About the Company

An instantly recognisable national brand with over 700 employee’s is looking for an Application Developer on a Permanent Full-Time bases. The business is based in Norwest Business Park and is renowned for being innovative, entrepreneurial and at the forefront of technology.

About the Role/Duties

You will be working in a team of up to 20 members who are responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, documenting, refactoring and maintenance of all applications.

The role will be focus on backend technologies such as C#, .NET and SQL.

Some of the responsibilities:
  • Configure and customisation to existing business application;
  • Produce solutions that are stable, secure and scalable by design;
  • Partnering with stakeholders and end users for new applications / modules; and
  • Engaging with other business units with enhancements and escalated issues.
Skills & Experience

Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key experience/capabilities:
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in development experience within .NET framework;
  • 5 years plus experience with SQL coding/scripting;
  • Strong experience working with WCF, Entity Framework, MVC or similar frameworks;
  • Experience in Azure GIT and Octopus;
  • Strong SDLC knowledge; and
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with constant challenges.
