The Project Officer, is a role within Community and Social Investment and is accountable to the Manager, Community Services role for: Developing responsive and efficient program strategies for areas of identified community need; developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders to support delivery of community services; producing quality advice and program management on contemporary issues in regard to providing high quality, effective community services and contributing to the planning and monitoring of community services programs.

Special Conditions: A tertiary qualification in a relevant business or project management discipline (post-graduate preferred) OR equivalent of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation is desirable. Some out of hours work may be required. Inter and intra-state travel may be required. Successful applicant may be required to provide evidence of completion of Responding to Abuse and Neglect- Education and Care full day training course or evidence of enrolment. Successful applicant will be required to hold a National Police Check (NPC) and satisfactorily complete an Employment-related Screening Check where this is required for the role, prior to being employed. Successful applicant will be required to hold a Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. The incumbent may be required to hold a current Australian issued Driver’s Licence (equivalent to minimum class ‘C’ – South Australian), which must be maintained. Incumbent must be willing and able to drive all government vehicles within their licence classification during the course of their duties. This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
