Dewatering Program Manager - 12 month fixed-term contract

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Manager NPI Projects, this key leadership role will be responsible and accountable for the management and execution of all aspect related to the successful delivery of dewatering projects across all Fortescue sites.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Responsible and accountable in managing the execution of dewatering program across all site from design through to procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close-out within budget, schedule, contract safety & quality requirements.
  • Developing, maintaining and continuous update of the program portfolio planning allowing overall scheduling and resource allocation for all current and planned projects.
  • Responsible for the development of dewatering program budget on a financial year basis.
  • Responsible for the collating and submission of monthly and quarterly cashflow forecast along with ensuring the compliance to +/- 5% to baseline cashflow.
  • Responsible for on-time delivery of fortnightly report comprising progress, cost and detailing emerging risks/issues for individual projects.
  • Responsible for all safety aspect from mobilisation of contracting partners through to execution of works ensuring all contractor documentation, and TBRA capturing all high-risk activities along with relevant control in place.
  • Promote and cultivate the team in achieving best for business outcomes ensuring that production targets and performance KPIs are met.
  • Maintain interfaces between Projects and Operations Stakeholder.
  • Exhibit and manage the dewatering program in line with Fortescue's Values.
  • Undertakes regular reviews of processes, systems, and compliance for improvement
  • Provide mentorship to the team towards continuous development of team members.
  • Demonstrate strong safety, quality, and management values
Qualifications and skills required:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification with substantial experience in project managing.
  • Demonstrable leadership and commitment to HSE Management in a project environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the proven ability in leading a multidiscipline team.
  • Sound commercial appreciation and judgement.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and multiple issues simultaneously.
