Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a diligent Facilities Support Coordinator to join our Sydney team for an initial 3-month contract with an immediate start. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the smooth running of some of our back-of-house operations throughout our office refurbishment.

The Facilities team provides professional support to all AECOM employees and clients. This role will require you to utilise your organisational skills to manage different tasks at one time and provide strong support to the Sydney Facilities team.

Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Assisting the facilities team in packing, clearing, and preparing the office for refurbishment

Collaborating with and supporting staff members on preparation activities ahead of the transition to agile workspaces, whilst ensuring employees are still able to work smoothly and effectively

Document management and archiving

Other ad-hoc administration tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

This is a varied and busy role which would suit someone who is pro-active, physically fit and enjoys working within a collaborative environment. You will ideally have experience in an administration or facilities role and will be someone that enjoys helping others.

Excellent customer service skills with a client focus (both internal and external clients)

Effective time management and prioritising skills with attention to detail

Ability to problem solve and be a self-starter

Experience with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word & Excel

Ability to multitask and agility and flexibility to adapt to change.
