About Our Client

Our client has a strong name and reputation in the civil industry and currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a major civil construction project in Cairns.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a local Leading Hand for on-going work for a major civil construction project in cairns. You will be willing and able to work Monday to Saturday working a minimum 46 hours a week. This role would be suitable for someone with a experience and specialising in Civil Drainage.

Responsibilities will Include:

Understanding and monitoring of OHS and environmental requirements.

Arrangement of labour and material resources for project

Direction and monitoring of subcontractors and suppliers

Daily Monitoring of site activity costs

Maintain daily record of site activities.

Ensure the site Supervisor quality expectations are being met.

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

Must have at least 3+ years experience working in a Leading Hand position.

Must have at least 3 +years working and specialising in Civil Drainage.

MR Licence, Dogman and/or Rail Industry Worker Ticket would be highly regarded.

White card

Current Drivers Licence

Current resume with 2x work related referees.

Effective time management and attention to detail

A strong work ethic

Ability to meet deadlines.

Be willing to go through pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
