The Opportunity

As a member of the Cartology Marketing and Insights team, you will support the Trade Marketing Manager to develop, package and execute key go to market programs that position Cartology as a tier one media partner and provide exceptional client experiences. You will be expected to develop insight-led stories and have the creativity that takes us beyond just a sales presentation, to create truly integrated and impactful opportunities. These opportunities will underpin our customer value proposition (We Get Customers) and drive commercial outcomes.

You will be a true partner with the sales team and provide them with what they need to be successful. You will have a keen sense of the Cartology brand and how to bring that to life in a commercial / sales context. In addition, the Trade Marketing function is the key custodian and expert when it comes to industry knowledge and competitor intelligence. 

The Trade Marketing Exec supports go to market execution, and is the key conduit between Client Partnerships (Sales, Client Strategy, Integrated Sales Activation) and Marketing & Insights. 

Some responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Trade Marketing Manager to bring to life priority programs and brand collateral to generate demand
  • Work with the Integrated Sales Activation team to deliver key marketing events and calendar moments in-market, ensuring A-class storytelling and collateral (Seasonal, Category etc.)
  • Bring to life research, insights and brand-led initiatives for the sales team (e.g. Case Studies, brand-led programs / flag waving activities etc.)
  • Develop sales collateral, toolkits and training to ensure Cartology is seen as a tier one media company and solutions provider, particularly amongst Marketers
  • Support the Sales, Key Accounts and Client Strategy teams
  • Ensure we deliver great client experiences that drive our Cartology Voice of Client scores
  • Support the launch/ expansion across new banners
  • Develop and deliver KPIs for all major programs. Ensure we have robust measurement and post campaign reporting in place.
  • Be well networked across Cartology
  • Be the industry expert - understanding trends, the competitor landscape, global activity etc. 
  • Be an inspiring advocate for marketing and Cartolog

About You

You will be a people person that is passionate about delivering the best stakeholder experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will be flexible, adaptable and a go-getter who wants to join a successful team that thrives on success. 

In addition you will have:

  • Approximately 2 years experience in the media and marketing discipline
  • Ability to distill complex information
  • Creative eye and passion for storytelling for commercial benefit
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Ability to work well in a pressured situation
  • Understanding of the client community - their needs and challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to flourish in ambiguity, be proactive and curious
