JOB DESCRIPTION

Goodwork is looking for a passionate social media professional who will be responsible for coordinating and implementing campaign and content strategies across various social media platforms, focussing on acquiring and engaging customers through goodwork’s Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts, as well as our own mobile application and blog. 

We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar social role and can act as the “go-to” for all things social marketing, content creation and distribution as well as community management. 

This will be a three-month, part-time contract position (15 hours/week), with the opportunity to become a full-time role based on achieving key performance metrics. The successful candidate will be supported by the Head of Growth, with a flexible mix of working from home and at our Collingwood office.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and publish content that builds meaningful connections with the community
  • Focus on new user acquisition (paid and organic) and customer engagement
  • Be highly active across owned social channels and within the online industry community
  • Build relationships with tradies, industry stakeholders, influencers and communities
  • General customer support and engagement via social and in-app
  • Work with Head of Growth to develop the strategy and execution, along with setting KPIs
  • Build and maintain a relevant content calendar and react quickly to trends and moments
  • Monitor and present performance metrics, aligned to KPIs
  • Support marketing, product and commercial team with tasks as required

You have

  • 3-5 years experience in social media, content creation and community management
  • Proven track record of growing customer acquisition, engagement and retention
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • A creative flare with a passion and energy to innovate
  • A keen interest in social media, social trends, best practices and the leaders in the space

Even better

  • Basic graphic design and/or video editing skills
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
