JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about film and making amazing content that is marketing-driven and aims to engage audiences? Are you a driven project leader that is not afraid to get gritty and hands on? Are you a keen agency account manager that also knows your way around a set? Are you a producer at heart that seeks to innovate and constantly improve your skills? Is 'good' just not good enough? If you said yes to any or all of the above, look no further. Enamored Iris, a growing and passionate Creative Production Agency is looking to hire a full time in-house producer/project & production manager for immediate start that is comfortable working with a small team and willing to assist in the companies growth as well as the ongoing creation of visual content.


Pre-Pre Production:

  • Assistant in the creation of production budgets and project proposals/presentations.
  • Translate client briefs into a real-life production plan.
  • Assist in the creation of jobs in the project planning software
  • Contribute to the creative process, but conducting the required research, participating in brainstorming sessions, but keeping a realistic eye to operational needs.
  • Participate in pitch meetings with clients - ensuring confidence and trust in the production process.
  • At times put together moodboards and other visual elements needed for the sales process.

Pre-Production

  • Prepare production plans, schedules and timelines for the whole project from start to finish
  • Logistics guru: Prepare the various elements of the production as required for each job - from casting, location sourcing and fixing, permits, sourcing props, help book equipment.
  • Book in and contract freelance crews.
  • Draft and get client contracts signed.
  • Assist in the storyboarding, scripting, and creative process - keeping the client's vision at heart and ensuring the team stays on brief.
  • At times prepare to shotlists and production breakdowns
  • At times prepare props, costume, and wardrobe breakdowns or help supervise as required.
  • Draft and send call sheets.
  • Follow-up the approval process with the client for all of the production elements.

Production

  • Be the client liaison - you will be the point of contact for the client on set and ensure takes are approved and they are happy with the Director and DPs work.
  • Don't forget to be the producer - keep the project brief in mind and make sure the content is in line with what was approved, on client brand and at EI quality standards.
  • Be the AD - Make sure the production runs on time and that the shotlist, storyboard or script are on track.
  • Be ready to not be precious - Productions will vary in crew size and scale and even with roles covered, you may need to wear many hats and get hands-on to help the crew even as a runner, production manager or best-boy/girl.

Post-Production

  • Book in freelance editors as needed and schedule their week.
  • Help monitor the edit quality and ensure that the project stays on brief, including the output, deliverables and number of allocated reviews.
  • Reconcile invoices and expenses against the budget at all times - especially after a production.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and projects are on track within the budget.
  • Liaise with clients for content reviews and approvals.

General Admin

  • Maintain files and projects up to date on both google drive as well as on project management software.
  • Help ensure invoices are forwarded for payment and processed.
  • Issue client invoices via the project management software.
  • At all times monitor budgets and costs allocated to projects, ensuring that it does not go over budget.
  • Quick in your emails and able to keep comms with clients fluidly. 


This is a customer-facing role and the person should be able to move seamlessly between the accommodating and positive client liaison to the no-nonsense producer. All the while presenting a premium and balanced experience for the client while caring for your crews, team and making sure the client project quality is optimum.


About you

  • 5+ Years experience in Agency or Production Company
  • Degree or equivalent studies in Production, Advertising, Media or related fields.
  • Knowledge or experience in Film, TV and/or Broadcasting is highly valued.
  • Experience coordinating animation and motion graphics projects. 
  • Understanding of cinematography and/or editing is valued but not essential.
  • Organized and able to monitor various jobs at different phases at once.
  • Elevated knowledge of social media content strategies is incredibly valued.
  • Happy to wear various hats both in the office as well as on set.
  • Skilled in google drive and docs - a lover of spreadsheets and keen to learn to use different softwares. 
  • All-rounder and passionate being.
  • Resilient to stress and able to keep a cool head even when things get rough.
  • Love for cinema - but understands marketing.
  • Able to think outside the box
  • Problem solver and a flexible attitude
  • Ready to learn and improve workflows processes
  • Industry contacts or sales leads are welcome
