The purpose of the position is to contribute to patient care in Redcliffe Hospital by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of a pharmacist.

About The Role

  • Assist in the preparation of sterile and non-sterile products in accordance with standard formulations and procedures.
  • Involvement in vaccine preparation in accordance with the relevant procedures and processes required for specialised storage, distribution/handing and administration of vaccines.
  • Provide a defined range of pharmacy services for patients with complex conditions under the delegation and guidance of a pharmacist.
  • Provide education to patients on the use of a defined range of medications, medication aids and devices under the guidance of a pharmacist.
