Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) is Victoria's safety regulator responsible for electricity, gas and pipeline safety. Our role is to ensure that Victorian gas and electricity industries are safe and meet community expectations. We are also responsible for licensing and registering electricians, and educating the community about energy safety. Our people come from a wide range of professions with diverse skills and experience driving the success of ESV.

About the opportunity
We have a fantastic 15 month opportunity for a Business Improvement Analyst based at our Brandon Park office. Reporting into the Head of Performance and Improvement, you will contribute by:

  • Consulting with key stakeholders to document current and future business processes and workflows, including reporting requirements.
  • Manage and lead end to end business process improvement changes via but not limited to:
    • Analysing and gathering support documentation and data to identify and design business improvement processes.
    • Facilitating process workshops and document and communicate outputs.
    • Educating business users responsible for managing and operating business processes.
    • Monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, science, engineering or similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of key projects, initiatives and change programs.
  • Solid understanding of the principles and application of business process and change management.
  • Experience in the development and application of business process tools to drive change and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the application of technology for business improvement and strategic development.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical with ability to research processes, collect and analyse data, provide solutions and implement changes.
