About the role

The Team Leader School Crossings is responsible for effectively and efficiently deliver the day the day planning and operations of the school crossing service for Council and residents of Casey. 

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate the day to day delivery of the school crossings service to meet the needs of the community as determined by Council policy and relevant legislation
  • Develop and deliver policies and procedures to transform and transition to contemporary operations such as rostering, risk assessments, staff training and recruitment.
  • Oversee and supervise the School Crossing Officers and field staff to deliver the program, and ensure that policies and processes are maintained to a high level of quality and compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to achieve outcomes and outputs to a high level including Safer Communities Department staff, Traffic Engineers, Payroll, People and Culture, Business Improvement, and Communications.
  • Assist in the development, documentation and delivery of service plans and service reporting,

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver project plans, reports, assessments and evaluations.
  • Proven experience supervising a large field based workforce
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people, community groups and networks.
  • Experience in managing a range of projects and task within designated timeframes.
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • National Criminal History and Working with Children Check
