Working as an Executive Assistant you will provide superior support to the Deputy CEO and their Corporate Team.

This is a busy role that requires a dynamic person who is adept at multi-tasking, prioritising whilst drawing from a strong skill set.

The Office of the CEO supports the CEO and Deputy CEO’s responsibilities and ensures that key areas of governance and administration are brought together in a strategic and coordinated way.

The combined responsibilities of the CEO and Deputy CEO include organisational strategy and performance, education and engagement, registration and risk, internal review, legal matters, quality assessment and compliance, and course accreditation.

In the role of Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high quality direct administration support to the D/CEO.
  • Managing the D/CEO’s diary effectively and sensitively.
  • Producing high quality documents for the CEO in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with stakeholders effectively to ensure the D/CEOs time is leveraged effectively.
  • Work cohesively as part of the broader corporate administration team and support the achievement of team goals.
  • Contributing to developing and maintaining consistent, quality process across the team.

To ensure success you will need the following:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
  • Capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self-direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high-quality work.
  • The capability to exercise a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and initiative.
  • Experience and expertise in providing high level executive support.
  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting senior executives in a government agency.
  • Australian Citizenship is a requirement of this position.
  • Qualifications in administration, or other relevant disciplines highly desirable.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo employment checks and/or obtain a security clearance (if they do not already possess).

Demonstrated experience within Government along with dedicated expertise in a similar role is imperative.
