An exceptional opportunity for an analytical and collaborative performance analyst who is passionate about investments. Located in Melbourne CBD, our client is a long-established Independent Financial Planning practice and Private Wealth Manager providing holistic financial advice to High Net Worth (HNW) clients. Our client is searching for a highly analytical and collaborative team member with the ability to interpret, produce and analyse investment data with a high degree of detail and accuracy to join their collegiate and collaborative team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly investor reports including return reconciliation, holdings and attribution analysis;
  • Assisting with ad-hoc portfolio rebalancing;
  • Daily monitoring of guidelines and portfolios;
  • Monthly preparation of internal and external shareholder analysis;
  • Performance data reconciliation and analysis;
  • Other investment management related matters as required;
  • Working collaboratively with all key internal and external stakeholders including Operations, Financial Advisors, Portfolio Managers and Investment Committee members.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
  • Ideally 2 years' or more experience within Investment Analyst/Performance roles;
  • Tertiary qualifications across business, commerce or investment related fields;
  • Analytical mindset to analyse and report on a diverse range of investment data;
  • Knowledge of FactSet, IRESS Pro, PowerBI and ASX Trading and Market Integrity Rules would be highly regarded;
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills;
  • General knowledge of financial markets;
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy, customer service, relationship management skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines;
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small team.
