Zendesk is looking for Product Management Interns to contribute to our market-leading customer service platform. Our product helps over 125,000 companies globally have more meaningful interactions and relationships with their customers.

Our Melbourne Product Management teams are growing across the board and starting out as an intern puts you in a good position to end up a permanent employee. We’re looking for 2 interns to join us for 6 months in a full-time capacity.

An industry-leading tech company

At Zendesk, we geek out about building software that delivers the ultimate customer experience. Your favourite brands use our products to engage you as a customer, and we lead the industry with beautifully simple software. And we’re constantly innovating - we can’t wait to outdo ourselves in the near future.

What you’ll do

As a Zendesk Product Management Intern, you’ll contribute to our highly successful products and work on new and exciting SaaS projects. You’ll work in a fast-paced, Agile environment where we focus on delivering value to our customers. We’re passionate about customers, performance, and solving challenging, large-scale problems.

Not your average tech company

Zendesk is a global company. Our head offices are in San Francisco and we have engineering teams in Singapore, Manilla, Copenhagen, Montpellier, Krakow, Dublin, Madison (Wisconsin) and Portland (Oregon). Our Australian team now has over 300 staff, having more than doubled over the last two years. We approach work with calm, focus, and a sense of humour whilst keeping sane working hours.

Our Social Impact team is actively engaged in our community and enables us to volunteer thousands of hours with local community groups each year. We invest in diversity and inclusion so that our staff reflects the diversity of the world around us. Our team is dedicated to ensuring our workplace experience is top-notch and welcoming for all.

We’d love to have you apply:

  • If you have an interest in building fantastic digital products but have little to no formal experience in Product Management (those who only have experience in other internships are welcome to apply).

  • If you have learned a lot in your existing role working with customers, technology or physical products, completed a Bootcamp, or have a TAFE/Uni degree.

  • If you are looking for a career change, returning to work after having kids, hitchhiking around the world, or simply just taking some time out.

We’re very open to applicants from all backgrounds, so if your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can rock the role, please apply!

**To help us learn a bit more about you, please submit a cover letter with your application**
