Indigo Junction provides low-barrier homelessness and support services through a ‘no wrong door’ approach, to people experiencing disadvantage in Midland and surrounds.

THE POSITION

The Compliance and Project Officer is a permanent part-time role based in Midland


The key objectives of this position are:

• Develop, plan, execute and manage the Indigo Junction Compliance Framework

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

Organisational

• Operate in accordance with the Indigo Junction Policies and Procedures Manual.

• Operate within the Indigo Junction Staff Code of Conduct.

Compliance

• Manage Indigo Junctions Compliance framework, ensuring policies and procedures are in line with best practice, legislation and enable the efficient delivery of services. 

• Compliance administration including but not limited to; conflicts of interest, risk, contracts, donations, complaints, service reporting and OHS. 

• Manage Indigo Junctions biennial housing registration audit

Projects

• Manage and execute projects ensuring that the project scope is clearly defined, risks are managed and that the project is delivered on time and within the approved budget. 

• Manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders including staff, Board, Suppliers, Consultants, Funders, the local community and other stakeholders.

Other

• Prepare grant proposal in collaboration with staff and external providers. 

• Support the implementation of Indigo Junctions marketing plan including but not limited to; thank you letters to donors, updates to information pamphlets, event communication, intranet and internet updates

• Assist with the coordination and completion of Indigo Junctions Annual Report. 

• Other adhoc duties as required
