The Medical Imaging Department at Tamworth Hospital is seeking dedicated and customer-service driven Administration Officers the join their team on a temporary full-time and part-time or casual basis. 

As the Administration Officer you will provide an efficient and effective administrative service within the Medical Imaging Department at Tamworth Hospital. The administration role is a critical part of delivering Medical Imaging outcomes to our patients and consists of meeting and greeting patients, public and medical professionals, providing general front desk administration / reception duties, entering patient information into RIS, booking patient appointments, providing general administrative support to other staff (including medical staff) and working as part of our bookings team answering calls and scheduling patient appointments. Working hours range from 7:30am to 6:30pm to support the provision of excellent services as required. The successful applicant will be supported by the Administration Manager and Operations Manager in the Medical Imaging Department. You will also be educated by your peers in administration in Medical Imaging, along with Hunter New England (HNE) learning resources.

Our successful candidates will be customer service driven individuals who are passionate about healthcare and can empathise with patients and visitors to our service whilst providing expert administrative support to our frontline health care professionals. You will have demonstrated experience in administrative support and will be enthusiastic about delivering extraordinary services that make a positive and demonstrable difference to the community.

Job share arrangements will be considered.

An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies. 

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia. 

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
