Period of Appointment

Until 30 June 2022.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

  1. Receive and record inquiries and complaints under the Ombudsman Act 1978, and, where appropriate, resolve enquiries and complaints directly with the service provider.
  2. Obtain information and assess complaints, identifying opportunities for early resolution, and formulating recommendations to address issues raised.
  3. Liaise with complainants, public authorities and other relevant individuals and agencies.
  4. Prepare correspondence and reports resulting from the resolution and assessment process.
  5. Assist with administrative and clerical tasks associated with the Ombudsman’s functions including use of the case management system and other records management systems such as HPRM.
