This is a great role for you to springboard your career with us. In this role aside from operating our trucks and machinery, you will also be involved in labouring duties within the crew. The duties will involve completing surfacing work, pavement dig outs, working on guardrails and other structures, completing emergency response work, winter maintenance, traffic management and so much more!

About you:

Along with your positive attitude and your ability to work in a team there are a few essentials, but don't stress too much if you don't tick them all off, we are prepared to train you:

  • Class 2 - Full New Zealand Drivers licence required
  • Class 4, TC/STMS and WTR endorsements are required for the role but we will help you gain these (training and development from day one!)
  • Experience operating an excavator and/or other machinery in a similar field
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to build relationships with the community
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts including occasional nights and weekends
