Period of Appointment

Appointment to the role is on a fixed term until May 2022.

Duties
  • Work with the Team Leader Communications to develop and deliver digital communications and engagement strategies for the State Roads Division.
  • Provide advice on the delivery of effective, professional and innovative digital marketing and communications strategies, activities and tools.
  • Develop and manage the Division’s social media content.
  • Work with Divisional staff to identify and develop appropriate content for publication and identify the best communication platform.
  • Develop and manage content for the Division’s website.
  • Develop and distribute content for the Division’s electronic newsletters.
  • Report on the effectiveness of digital communications and engagement strategies and campaigns.
  • Work closely with other members of the Stakeholder Communications Branch to identify and develop opportunities to improve communications and stakeholder engagement activities and processes through the use of digital media.
  • Project-manage digital communication projects.
  • Undertake other communications activities as requested.
Desirable Requirements
  • A current full car driver licence
  • Tertiary qualifications in digital communications, marketing, or related discipline and/or experience in marketing and communications activities.
