Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP and concluding 31 December 2021.

Clinical Quality, Regulation & Accreditation - South.


  • Provide high level advice to the Manager Emergency Preparedness and Response, the Chief Medical Officer/Group Head and other key stakeholders on health and broader emergency management issues across the full spectrum of prevention, preparedness, response and recovery at an Agency, system, State and national level.
  • Develop policy, plans and procedures, and lead projects and initiatives that contribute to the development and enhancement of DoH and broader health emergency preparedness and response capabilities as part of the DoH emergency preparedness and response program.
  • Represent the Agency, the sector, and/or the State on emergency management working groups, inter-agency committees, advisory and decision-making bodies.
  • Develop strong relationships and professional networks, both intra- and interstate, necessary to enhance DoH and Tasmanian emergency preparedness and response capability and capacity.
  • Research and prepare background papers, briefings and correspondence on emergency preparedness and response issues.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
  • NV1 level security clearance
