JOB DESCRIPTION

A Facility Manager is required for a medium sized facility in the Murray Bridge area. Oversee the operations of the residential facility.

Redstone Recruitment have partnered with a local Council located approx. 1 hour from Adelaide CBD to assist with the recruitment of a Senior Facility Manager. This organisation has a medium 80 bed residential aged care facility who have a mix of high and low care needs and looks to hire a strong management professional to oversee the home.

About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager and working with Council and the Facility leadership team, you will ensure the smooth running of the facility day to day. Your responsibilities encompass all business operations of the home as well as oversight of the clinical staff. You will be well supported by a strong Clinical Care Manager, a team of RN’s and care staff, ACFI Coordinator and Quality assistance along with the General Manager.

The Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification to degree level in Finance and/or Health Administration, desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within the Aged Care industry
  • Experience in overseeing budgets & finances within aged care
  • Strong successful history in taking aged care homes through accreditations
  • Experience with recruitment and knowledge of HR legislation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ACFI and auditing
  • Experience in managing/mentoring care staff and success in managing change
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and an ability to use and set up systems
  • Genuine passion for the aged care industry
  • Police clearance or willingness to undergo one
