Georgiou are currently seeking a part time Senior Bookkeeper to join our team based in Osborne Park. The role will require approximately 20 hours per week, across 2-3 days, with flexible hours to suit. The successful candidate will perform the accounts of Georgiou Capital and associate subsidiaries in accordance with relevant Local, State and Federal Statutory Legislation, and in accordance with corporate policies, procedures and delegated authority.

What we are seeking:

*Demonstrated previous experience with bookkeeping tasks, such as balance sheets and monthly reconciliations.
*Experience fixed assets registers and the depreciation process, and interrupting management reports into GL.
*Experience with accruals, prepayments, GST and BAS for multiple entities.
*Experience with shares and managed funds (desirable but not essential)
*Experience using ERP systems.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
*Experience in systems such as Timberline, Microsoft Office, Concur, Power Olap and HRIS.

What to expect in this role:

*Ensure that the accounts receivables processes of Georgiou are completed in accordance with the Georgiou systems and processes ensuring the correct distribution & approval of both payables and receivables invoices, posting of invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements and the payment and collection of invoices by the reporting deadlines
*Ensure that there is consistent communication in a timely and effective manner to all suppliers and subcontractors in regard to all queries regarding the processing of accounts
*Invoices are coded correctly & meet statutory requirements
*Cheque and EFT payments are produced in accordance with payment terms agreed with suppliers and subcontractors
*Supplier setups - ensure all new vendors are setup in accordance with company policy
*Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts, and assist with management of treasury including cash flow updates and term deposit management

General Ledger
*Process External Property management reports into GL with high degree of accuracy to ensure correct reporting of Property income.
*Ensure Property costs are accurately coded and processed in a timely manner
*Manage accruals and prepayments across the group
*Fixed assets register and depreciation processing
*Balance sheet reconciliations monthly
*GST and BAS for up to 7 plus entities completed monthly
*Investments are captured accurately and all Dividend and Managed fund income is coded and reconciled.
*Enter shares and managed funds into Sharesight program
*Intercompany transactions accurate and reconciled
